CAP: Climate Action Plan
The Capital Regional District (CRD) is a diverse area which includes urban centers, rural farm land, wilderness, and islands in the Pacific. The thirteen member municipalities are Central Saanich, Colwood, Esquimalt, Highlands, Langford, Metchosin, North Saanich, Oak Bay, Saanich, Sidney, Sooke, Victoria, and View Royal. The CRD also includes the electoral areas of Juan de Fuca, Southern Gulf Islands, and Salt Spring. The population of the area is currently around three hundred and forty thousand with a predicted growth to four hundred twenty thousand in the next few decades.
